民生实事再创佳绩。 省委、省政府确定15件重点民生实事中涉残项目有3件：一是“扶残助学（大学生）圆梦工程”实现应助尽助目标，6413名符合资助条件的残疾人大学生和困难残疾人家庭子女得到资助，共资助3094.5万元；二是“抢救性康复救助项目”任务超额完成，8000名任务量已完成11513名；三是“基本辅助器具适配补贴项目”首次纳入民生实事，4万名任务量已完成56583名。

就业工作高位推动。 5月，省政府残工委副主任，省残联党组书记、理事长巩成向省十四届人大常委会第十次会议专题报告了全省残疾人就业工作情况，这在省残联发展史上尚属首次。10月，向省政府报送了《关于扶持残疾人辅助性就业示范机构的请示》，确定在全省建成100家“晋享家园”残疾人辅助性就业示范机构，给予每家一次性奖励补贴7.5万元，共计750万元。

文体活动精彩出色。 在第十七届巴黎残奥会上，运动员郑杰桐获得1枚铜牌，并打破亚洲纪录；在2024年IBSA盲人柔道大奖赛中，运动员王嘉楠分别获得女子J2-57公斤级金、银、铜牌。12月3日，成功举办第十一届山西省残疾人艺术汇演，300名演职人员以丰富多彩的艺术形式诠释生命之美、奋进之志、梦想之光，现场气氛热烈。
