4月11日，应缅甸红十字会请求，中国红十字国际救援队对缅甸曼德勒三处受灾区域开展大规模防疫消杀工作。据悉，此次消杀行动覆盖仰光市内三处重点区域：市政中心（消杀面积8000㎡）、亿雅通安置点（消杀面积31000㎡）及马哈昂梅三区受灾区域（消杀面积1200㎡）。

在40摄氏度高温的严峻考验下，救援队员与当地志愿者通力协作，圆满完成总面积达4.02万平方米的消杀任务，为灾后公共卫生安全筑牢防线。
